Redistributed copy — install the original 101-skills/superpowers

A frozen August snapshot of inference.sh's skills under a superpowers name that is not obra's. Paid cloud models, curl-pipe-sh CLI. Use the original.

Verified · Repo on GitHub

What it does

Generates videos with 40+ hosted models (Veo, Seedance, Wan, Grok, OmniHuman…) through the inference.sh CLI, belt: text-to-video, image-to-video, lipsync, upscaling and foley, each one a belt app run <model> --input … call.

Who made it / license / last checked

inference.sh — commits by okaris; this repo is a snapshot of inference-sh/skills · License: no LICENSE file in either repo; the plugin manifest and README badge say MIT · Repo last commit checked: 2026-08-03

Install

# Do not install this copy. If you want the skill, take it from its source:
npx skills add inference-sh/skills@ai-video-generation

The inference-sh/skills@… form is the one the skill itself uses in its Related Skills section. The CLI it needs installs with curl -fsSL cli.inference.sh | sh (or brew, npx or scoop), per cli-install.md.

What files / scripts it runs

SKILL.md (7,399 bytes) with allowed-tools: Bash(belt *) — any belt command, paid model runs included. The repo holds 133 files of inference.sh skills and guides; the skill relies on the separately installed belt binary and your inference.sh login.

Pros

  • One entry point to many video models, with copy-paste examples
  • The CLI installer documents checksum and Sigstore verification

Cons

  • Frozen copy: its last commit (3 Aug, becc256) is a commit of inference-sh/skills, which has moved on (last commit 15 Oct); the SKILL.md now differs from upstream
  • Named "superpowers" but unrelated to obra/superpowers — easy to confuse with that well-known pack
  • Every generation is a paid cloud run, and the skill states no prices
  • No LICENSE file despite the MIT claims

Alternatives

inference-sh/skills at the source, if you want inference.sh; your video provider's own API or app if you use just one model.

Notes

We fetched upstream tools/video/ai-video-generation/SKILL.md from inference-sh/skills on 30 Oct (7,379 bytes) and compared: 96.1% similar (Python difflib), the snapshot being the older text. The GitHub API shows the snapshot's head commit inside upstream's history. Skills.sh listed this copy at 899.9K installs (#23) on 30 Oct 2026, for a repo created on 31 Aug 2026 with 16 stars.

Sources

Verified on 2026-11-04 through the GitHub API: neither it nor the original it is compared with has had a commit since the 30 Oct check, so the files, sizes and verdict above still hold. Previous check on 2026-10-30, from a fresh clone of the repo (commit becc256, 2026-08-03) and the skills.sh leaderboard fetched that day. Repo last-commit is a repo date, not a per-skill release date. Install counts are distribution, not quality.
