What every review includes
- The same method as every verdict on this site (how we review): SKILL.md read in a clone of your repo, every script and allowed tool listed, license and author checked, install command verified.
- A public verdict page: what it does, what it runs, pros, cons, alternatives and sources.
- Structured data on the page so search engines can show the verdict next to your skill's name.
- A README badge that links to the verdict.
What install counts and a README do not tell your users
A popular skill can still surprise the people who install it. From verdicts we have published:
- A skill that is a 96.1% copy of another one, with the original to install instead (case).
allowed-tools: Bash(belt *): anybeltcommand, paid model runs included, and no prices stated (case).- A final render that uploads the whole project to a cloud service, the default on paid plans since 31 Oct (case).
- A browser skill that should run in a throwaway profile, not your logged-in one (case).
Go through the free pre-publish checklist yourself first. The fast-track review gives you a second reader, with private findings before anything goes live.
Community queue
- We pick skills by what people search for and install.
- No request needed, and no date promise.
- The verdict is published when it is ready.
Fast-track review
- A reserved slot instead of waiting in the queue.
- Private findings sent to you first.
- 7 days to fix issues before the verdict goes live.
- One re-check after your fixes.
- Already reviewed? It re-reads your current version sooner; the verdict can go either way.
What money never buys
- The verdict. A paid review can end in Skip like any other.
- Removing or softening a published verdict or its cons.
- A place in our best-of rankings.
Fast-tracked pages say so at the top: “Reviewed early at the author's request.”
